Light and Shadows is made with a quilt as you go technique where 2 quilt tops are sliced into 1" strips, then alternately sewn onto a sandwiched backing. I was experimenting with opposite colors and overlapping inset circles. I cut the 20" unbound square quilt, on a diagonally, into a 15" square to add movement and was pleased with the results. This quilt was accepted by Curated Quilts' mini challenge, black and white issue.
