This quilt began in Chawne Kimber's "Adventures in Tiny Piecing" workshop. It is a traditional courthouse steps block and the movement created by the colors reminds me of an equalizer when a dance-worthy song is on. The name is inspired by both the quilt block and a song of the same name by Capital Cities. It contains 3,113 pieces of fabric and my favorite aspects are the teeny tiny pieces of color created at the corner intersections.
