Your Land, My Land illustrates that while we may resolutely head left or right in our opinions, there is still hope of finding common ground. The quilting on the red and blue is linear and spikey depicting the lack of compromise. When the paths intersect and become purple, the quilting softens into curves. The background areas have matchstick quilting interspersed with strands of purple, red, and blue showing how we are all connected.
