I asked my bee colleagues to try Mark Making on fabric, white on black. Arranging the blocks I kept thinking about how other artists influence me, how they leave marks on my work, and how, hopefully, I also occasionally leave a tiny mark on others' work. The quilt is supposed to show that ongoing wonderful rich flow of giving and receiving inspiration. Quilting was done by hand, using white and black embroidery thread.
