Without design, for the sheer joy of improvising and playing with colors, I put together pieces of fabric and scraps. It turned out as a circle that was quilted on a household sewing machine with a graphic pattern. I placed the circle as reverse applique onto black fabric and filled the negative space with concentric circles. Because there was a Super Blue Blood Moon at that time, a rare astronomical phenomenon, I named the quilter after it.
