Model Farm is named after the street that my grandparents used to live on. The design is inspired by a traditional log cabin quilt that my grandmother made. I modified her design by eliminating all but four log cabin blocks, played with the scale and dimension of the pieces, and put the blocks on point. I left the design with negative space around the perimeter of the quilt to emphasize the log-cabin element of the quilt.
