This quilt features my 'Textured Twist' technique using 32 shades of blue. The twist effect is mesmerizing and creates a 3D effect that changes depending on the angle you view them. I wanted to use the illusion of the twists, but also add a new element to further the design. The result was lighter shades of blues flowing vertically creating a reflection through the center. The waves are improv curves making each one uniquely different.
