I love curves and I love needle turn appliqué. Each block in this quilt started with a square that was cut in two with a curve. Both the convex and concave part of the curve were appliquéd and built into log cabins. I paid special attention to orientation of the blocks, letting the curves climb down the quilt. Linens, Swiss Dot and vintage stripes from my Granny are favorite fabrics with lots of texture, plus hand quilting for texture overload.
