This design was a fun exploration of shape, line, and color. I wanted to create a woven stripe effect that could be easily pieced. I enjoy making bold, bright quilts from colorful geometric prints that I design myself. The overall composition draws your eye around the quilt, emphasizing the woven stripe effect with irregular crosshatch quilting using variegated thread.
