This quilt is my interpretation of one of my grandfather's many paintings. Robert Nason's original painting was acrylic on muslin and displayed with others from the series he called "leaning pictures" in a gallery on Newbury Street in Boston in the late 1960s. For additional visual interest, I mirrored the design in the quilting of the negative space.
