This fabric was collected at QuiltCon Pasadena from the Cotton+Steel bags. It was such a fun experience to wait in line for the event to open, meet quilters from all over, then dash down the aisle to get the goodie bags. I wanted to commemorate this experience by making a quilt with the collected fabric. The base pattern is Local Color by Bill Kerr. I pieced, then recut, to create this modified version which is set with alternate gridwork.
