I had developed this pattern in black and white, using some strip piecing techniques. Loving batiks, the Hoffman Me+You Indah Batik fabrics motivated me to try it in colors. I also incorporated some transparency in the cornerstones and thin bars. Both the title and the quilt pattern came about due to my recent research on windows and doors for my new house. Many choices to be made in both!
