This quilt is based on a decorative pillow cover I designed for my brother, who as a child was fascinated by astronomy. The design elements are abstract and suggestive, meant to create a mood rather than show specific, recognizable astronomic elements. The contrast in color choices contributes to the feeling of looking out into an unexplored world of planets and galaxies. I designed this quilt using EQ8.
