This quilt began as a paper collage. I loved the graphic and fluid shapes and wanted to challenge myself to piece it. I have always been inspired by bold graphics, lettering and modern poster design. This quilt with its strong graphic quality was made at the beginning of a recent commitment to create a paper version of the design before transforming it into a quilt.
