Jumbo Paperclip is based on a lino cut block I created as part an experimental project in 2017. This motif became a fabric design 'Paperclip', screen printed as a limited run in 2018. I wanted to experiment on a large scale and Jumbo Paperclip quilt was imagined. Using a minimal colour palette and cotton/linen mix creates interest and provides a mixture of fabric surfaces. Uniform grid quilting juxtaposes the curves in the oversized motifs.
