Quilt no. 24: Prairie is a contemplation on the concept of home. The log cabin block is understood to represent the hearth and home. I made this quilt for myself in my favorite color, as a reminder that home lives in me. I have the capacity to build my own home with my hands, in my body, my heart, my relationships, and in the place I live.
