What a fun way to contrast strips and curves. I used improvisational techniques to build a design that I felt was interesting and created movement, almost like an optical illusion. I've always loved working with primary colors and quilting in yellow, blue and red was a fun process. Some of my inspiration came from Piet Modrian and how he used stripes and primary colors. Such a great challenge.
