I created this quilt by pulling from my green fabric scrap bins and dividing the fabrics into light, medium, or dark color value piles based on how they looked with each other. When most of the green scraps were used up, I faded the design into to pink scraps instinctively using the same color value formula. I love how this quilt looks very scrappy up close, yet different from a distance.
