Writing is my ‘one thing’. There’s nothing better than digging into the history of quilts and then bringing those stories to life. My forte is nonfiction history books on Japanese and American quilts, textiles and cotton. Living this life means I travel to Japan often, as well as all over the U.S. Along the way, I quilt, sew, blog, and take photos. Those things are rewarding, but my real joy comes from walking into a room full of quilters and sharing the stories of this passion we all love. In 2014 I earned a Master's in Liberal Studies from Rice University and was named the ‘Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Scholar’ by the Texas Quilt Museum and the Bybee Foundation. TeresaDuryeaWong.com
