A former apparel designer and merchandiser, these days Blair Stocker makes traditionally modern quilts using coveted fabric collections and special scraps, and teaches others to do the same. Her newest book, Wise Craft Quilts: A Guide To Turning Beloved Fabrics into Meaningful Patchwork shares ways to infuse more meaning into our quilts. She is greatly inspired by vintage textiles, couture fashion collections, and storytelling through quiltmaking. Blair lives in the Pacific Northwest, but draws design inspiration from her childhood growing up in North Carolina.
