Through early risk recognition and engagement of community stakeholders, local and state agencies in the Greater New Orleans area have taken a collaborative, whole-community approach to providing proactive vaccination campaigns to mitigate the spread of Hepatitis A in Louisiana.
Part B: Aiming for Second: Lessons from a Multi-Jurisdiction County with the Second Highest Hepatitis A Case Count in Ohio
From fall 2018 to March 2019, Ohio’s Butler County held the title “Worst in the State” for Hepatitis A. This presentation will focus on Butler County’s battle for second place, including lessons learned, vulnerabilities identified, and the current strategies for building community health resilience.
