Kamya Raja is a Program Analyst for NACCHO’s Local Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response (LOOPR) and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) teams. Her responsibilities on the LOOPR Team involve supporting research and data collection, providing programmatic support, and developing publications and policy tools to increase awareness about key project outcomes. Recently, Kamya led development of an opioid prevention and response primer document. For the MRC Team, she supports public health preparedness programs and is currently publishing an article in the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice. Prior to joining NACCHO, Kamya worked for CNA on projects supporting the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. She received her Master of Science in Public Health degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
