Harlan Dolgin, JD, CBCP, is a Certified Business Continuity Professional since 2001, with more than 18 years’ experience in the areas of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Pandemic Preparedness and Bioterrorism Preparedness. He is currently Co-Owner of the Bio-Defense Network, a firm specializing in pandemic and bioterrorism preparedness for public and private sector organizations. He is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on Closed Points of Dispensing and in preparing local communities for a bioterrorism event such as an Anthrax release. He was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Community Health at St. Louis University, teaching Business Continuity Management and Pandemic Planning from 2009 to 2015.
In 2006, Dolgin was Founder and Co-Chair of PandemicPrep.Org, a not-for-profit organization working to prepare the St. Louis region for the next pandemic. PandemicPrep.Org is the nation’s leading grassroots pandemic planning organization and a trusted partner with FEMA, HHS, Department of Homeland Security, and OSHA.
Dolgin has also worked in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at Thomson Reuters, US Bank, and WellPoint. Prior to his business continuity and disaster recovery career, he practiced civil and trial law for eight years. He has maintained his law license with the State of Missouri since 1986.
