Jenny Latour is the Pee Dee Public Health Reserve Corps Coordinator for the Pee Dee Region in South Carolina, serving 12 counties in the Northeastern corner of the State. She began working in her current role with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control in January 2014 and works to prepare volunteers to serve in Medical Need Shelters, Points of Dispensing (POD’s) and to provide community presentations such as “Stop the Bleed” and “Until Help Arrives”.
Earlier career roles include EMT/Paramedic and various roles with the American Red Cross in disaster preparedness and response. Jenny has responded to several major disasters, such as Hurricane Sandy and the tornado outbreak affecting multiple States in April 2011.
She graduated Clemson University with a Psychology major and completed a certificate program with Central Carolina Technical College in Emergency Administration and Management.
