Despite many challenges, laboratories across the country have worked to quickly implement and scale-up testing for coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This town hall session will share the story of the laboratories and their efforts to ensure timely testing which impact treatment decisions, contact tracing and broader public health surveillance.

Identify 2 current priority areas in public health and healthcare preparedness at the local, state, tribal, and national levels;
Describe the importance of inter-professional collaboration between public health, healthcare and emergency management in all phases of the disaster life cycle.
