PHd candidate
Texas A&M University
I am a Phd student at Texas A&M University, Department of Soil and Crop Science. The lab I have been involved in is mainly working on corn breeding and quantitative genetics. In these lab studies, especially my focus is to examine the plasticity of the complex traits of corn and to understand it at the molecular and phenotypic level. To do so, we have been using high-throughput phenotyping and genotyping technologies and strategies to reach our goal. So far, I have been working on validating the relationships between SNP (effecting the plant height and grain yield in corn) and agronomically important traits using high-throughput phenotyping.
