This presentation session will focus on hearing from the experts in emerging technologies at the forefront of disease detection and diagnosis using non-invasive and highly sensitive methodologies. The prominent research from several groups will be the main focus: Dr. Seungpyo Hong from the University of Wisconsin-Madison will introduce the detection of circulating cancer cells, Dr. Ramesh Rajagopal from the University of Oklahoma will describe his novel methodology for urinary detection of cancer-derived exosomes, and Dr. Vincent Venditto from the University of Kentucky will present his findings in diagnosing adverse cardiac events and thieir correlation to low serum ApoA-IgG levels.
