Currently, Assistant professor in the Harrison School of Pharmacy’s Department of Drug Discovery and Development, Auburn University. Founding director of the Auburn University Center for Pharmacogenomics and Single-Cell Omics Initiative (AUPharmGx).
Ph.D. in Genomics from the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (India) at Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2009. Completed post-doctoral work with the Pharmacogenomics Laboratory in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota between 2009-12, and Research Associate in the Institute of Human Genetics (2012-13). Served as Research Assistant Professor with the University of Minnesota’s Department of Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development (2013-17).
Industry experience: Senior scientist and technical lead of a multiple myeloma Single-cell Consortium at the Celgene Corporation.
16+ years of experience in pharmacogenomics, single-cell -omics functional genomics, molecular biology and translational research. 60+ peer-reviewed publications in internationally acclaimed scientific journals, book chapter and patents.
