Hanine Rafidi is currently an Associate Scientist in the Preclinical and Translational Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Department at Genentech. After completing a BS in Biochemistry and Microbiology at San Francisco State University, Hanine earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2013 at University of California, Davis where she studied the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinases, funded through a Department of Defense grant.
During the 5-years at Genentech, Hanine has gained expertise in radiopharmaceutical chemistry including the incorporation of radioactive metals and halogens into therapeutic proteins. Hanine’s experience includes the application of non-invasive imaging techniques to address pharmacokinetic and distribution questions across various therapeutic areas.
