Alison Harrill, Ph.D. is a Geneticist in the National Toxicology Program at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. She provides service to several national and international committees committed to safety assessment and biomarker development, including chairing the Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) Emerging Systems Toxicology for Assessment of Risk Committee since 2015, serving as Deputy Editor for the journal Toxicological Sciences, and as Councilor on the executive board (Council) of the Society of Toxicology. She has earned numerous awards for her research into the effects of genetic variation on toxicity outcomes, including the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Innovation in Regulatory Science Award and the Best Paper published in Toxicological Sciences.
