Elizabeth Tocce joined the Dow Pharma & Food Solutions business in 2011 leading research and development for POLYOX™ in areas of specialty matrices like osmotic pump tablets and abuse deterrent formulations. She has also supported quality improvement efforts for POLYOX™ and has been highly engaged with POLYOX™ customers for technical and project support. Beyond POLYOX™, she led a joint research program with the University of Michigan to evaluate methylcellulose polymers for use in nasal drug delivery, and led a silicones project for improved wound healing films. Elizabeth recently joined the DowDuPont Pharma Excipient SAFI team as a Pharma Application Development Scientist. In this role, she provides technical support to pharmaceutical customers and is also be responsible for providing project and technical leadership on new and existing growth and innovation projects. Elizabeth received her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
