Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at Long Island University majoring in Pharmaceutics & also working as a Research assistant. As a graduate student, I have been gaining a valuable experience with Solid oral dosage form (Tablets) with Natoli Institute for Industrial Pharmacy at Long Island University.
As an Intern at Merck in the analytical sciences team, I was able to develop and understand the film coat lag time of the FCT tablets and to understand the difference between the kinetic solubility of the salt and free base form using surface dissolution UV imaging system.
The internship and the Co-op at Amneal Pharmaceuticals gave me a great learning opportunity in the ophthalmic formulations (Sterile Semisolids & Liquid dosage forms) like Ointments, Micro-emulsions, Suspensions, Solutions and Gels.
Past experience and my interest, falls majorly in the preformulation, formulation and characterization of the solid oral and liquid dosage forms.
