Neeraj Kaushal is currently a doctoral candidate in Dr. Senshang Lin’s laboratory within the Industrial Pharmacy program at St. John’s University. Mr. Kaushal’s research at St. John’s focuses on design, development and pharmacokinetic evaluation of surface-modified drug-loaded biodegradable nanocarriers for partially overcoming the multi-drug resistant cancers as well as studying their brain-targeting potential. Prior to this time, Mr. Kaushal was a Formulation Scientist II at Amneal Pharmaceuticals (Piscataway, NJ). At Amneal, Mr. Kaushal extensively worked towards development of various drug products (i.e. topical, and extended-release oral suspension). Prior to joining Amneal, Mr. Kaushal was an Analytical Scientist at Kashiv Pharma LLC (Bridgewater, NJ) (now Kashiv Biosciences). While serving the pharmaceutical industry in various roles, Mr. Kaushal successfully led and executed pilot and pivotal batches of the developed products. Additionally, Mr. Kaushal developed robust analytical methods and protocols for analysis of various drug substances and products. Mr. Kaushal received a MS in Chemistry from Long Island University and BS in pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (India).
