Carol Caraballo, MSW, MPA, LCSW, is the vice president of Behavioral Health Services at South Florida Behavioral Health Network, Inc., dba Thriving Mind South Florida. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the State of Florida and has a Master's in Social Work and a Master's in Public Administration, both from Florida International University. She has also earned certificates in addiction studies from the University of Miami, is a certified SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) trainer and a CIT Coordinator. Caraballo has worked with South Florida Behavioral Health Network (SFBHN) for the last five years and recently accepting the title of vice president of behavioral health services. During her tenure at SFBHN she has also held the positions of care coordination manager and adult system of care manager where she oversaw the service coordination for the most acute individuals receiving adult mental health and substance abuse services in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Prior to her work with South Florida Behavioral Health Network, Caraballo worked as the director of programs at South Florida State Hospital. She got her start at Fellowship House, a non-profit psycho-social rehabilitation agency. Caraballo has over 15 years of experience working in behavioral health services and is a board member of the Community Based Care (CBC) Alliance. As a member of the CBC Alliance she works on addressing system challenges that impact outcomes for children and families in Miami-Dade County.
