No other conference in health care offers as many continuing education (CE) and continuing medical education (CME) credits for professionals in the mental health and addictions field – as many as 26.4! NatCon20 offers a wide range of credits through multiple professional associations for everyone from nurses and social workers to psychologists and physicians. Approved continuing education topics range from finance, leadership and criminal justice to trauma-informed care, technology and addiction and more.
We make it easy to earn your credits. Just scan your name badge on the electronic badge scanner when you enter and exit each required session and complete an online evaluation form either during the Conference or within 30 days after the Conference. Remember, you must attend the full session to receive CE and CME credits.
NatCon20 is dedicated to offering professionals and practitioners the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in mental health and addiction treatment and services, improve their skills, exchange information on best practices and learn strategies to incorporate the latest research and new trends in their practice.
NatCon20 Learning Objectives:
The National Council has submitted and will be offering credit for CE and CME through the following organizations:
*The exact number of hours offered for each credit type is pending final approval and will be shared in February 2020.
*Continuing education requirements vary from state to state. Many state boards grant reciprocity with national accrediting organizations and other state boards. It is the responsibility of each professional to understand the requirements for license renewal or check with the state or national licensing board and/or professional organization to become more familiar with their policies for acceptable continuing education credit. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval.
The National Council for Behavioral Health is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. This program is valid for 16.5 PDCs for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit www.shrmcertification.org.
