Registration will open in January, 2020.
How do I register?
NOHC uses an online registration website. All registrations must be done online, no exceptions. If you have questions regarding registration, you may contact the NOHC Office via email, firstname.lastname@example.org or at 1-217-529-6503, ext 102.
How much is registration?
Registration fees vary depending on if you are a current member or associate member of the Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors (ASTDD) or the American Association of Public Health Dentistry (AAPHD).

What's included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes access to education sessions Mon-Wed, CE, Sunday Opening Reception, continental breakfast Mon-Wed, and breaks Mon-Wed. Printed programs will not be provided. Attendees will receive an email with a link to print the onsite program before arriving in San Diego. All conference information will be available in the mobile App. An email will be sent to all registered attendees when the mobile app is available to download.
New for 2020-Attendees have advised us that they would like the NOHC to be more proactive in reducing waste (paper and food) and also be more environmentally-friendly. In doing so, attendees will be required to register for lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The registration fee is $18.00/lunch and must be added during the online registration process. If lunch is not added, attendees will be considered on their own for lunch. Lunch tickets will ONLY be provided to those who have registered and paid for lunches. Note: Lunches cannot be guaranteed for registrations completed after March 27, 2020.

How can I pay my registration fee?
All registrations must be paid in full at the time of registration to be considered confirmed. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Purchase orders will not be accepted.
Attendees who wish to pay with a check must contact the NOHC office for instructions. Checks must be postmarked by February 24, 2020, to qualify for the earlybird registration rate. Registrations after February 25, 2020, will be at the regular registration rate and checks must be postmarked by March 23, 2020, to qualify for the regular registration rate. Registrations after March 24, 2020, must be paid in full with a credit card at the time of registration. Registrations are not considered confirmed until paid in full. Checks or cash will not be accepted on-site. No exceptions.
What are the registration deadlines?
What happens if I register but cannot attend the conference?
If you registered for the conference and cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and received in the NOHC office no later than 5:00 pm CST, March 13, 2020, via email at email@example.com and acknowledged in writing by an NOHC staff member. The applicable registration rates will apply to the new attendee. NOHC does not accept telephone transfers.
If you cannot transfer the registation to another attendee, your cancellation request must be submitted in writing and received in the NOHC office no later than 5:00 pm CST, March 13, 2020, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and acknowleged in writing by an NOHC staff member. NOHC does not accept telephone cancellations.
Where do I stay?

How do I get from the airport to hotel?
If you are arriving into the San Diego International Airport, there is a complimentary hotel airport shuttle runs every 20 – 25 minutes starting at 4:45 AM until Midnight to the San Diego International Airport. Can I bring a guest or spouse?
Registered attendees can purchase a guest pass for the full conference or for the day. A guest is a spouse, partner, friend or family member (18 years and older) who is accompanied by a registered attendee and is not employed in the dental or dental public health field. Note: At events where alcohol is served, no one under 21 years of age is permitted.

Attendees must complete their online registration and contact the NOHC Office to add a guest pass. Guest Passes must be paid in full when added to the registration. Staff cannot guarantee availability on-site.

What is there a dress code for the conference?
All conference functions are business casual attire unless otherwise noted. Please keep in mind that meeting room temperatures vary. You may want to bring a jacket or sweater to all sessions.

What if I have a dietary restrictions?
NOHC will work with the venue to accommodate the following dietary needs; Allergies, Gluten-free, Vegan and Vegetarian. Attendees will be asked to indicate dietary needs during the online registration process.
Is internet available?
Yes. Internet is provided in the meeting rooms. Attendees will be provided with internet access information upon check-in.
How can I get the presentation slides?
Registered attendees will be able to download the PowerPoint presentation slides on the app before the session even starts, if provided by the speaker.
If a workshop I want to attend is full, can I still get in?
If you were not able to pre-register for a workshop you can go to the room in which the workshop will be held and ask the Session Coordinator if there are any empty slots available. Only the Session Coordinator can determine if and when non-registered attendees are allowed into the session room if pre-registered attendees do not show up to claim their seat. Workshop attendance limits were set by the Session Coordinators upon submission as they are designed to be an experiential and interactive learning opportunity for participants.
Can I get CEUs?
Yes, there are two types of CE credit available to NOHC attendees:
What is the deadline to apply for CE credits?
For ADA CERP, you have until December 31, 2020, to complete the tasks and print your CE certificate. After this deadline, NOHC staff will not be able to generate the CE certificate if the required tasks were not completed before the deadline. No exceptions.
