The Planning Committee has put the final details on the program for the premier meeting for dental public health! The 21st joint meeting of ASTDD and AAPHD promises to provide attendees with the most current information on international, national, and local issues, lots of networking opportunities, information on new products and services, and a little fun!
Sunny San Diego, California, will be our host for five days of programming:
Weekend Workshops: April 4-5, 2020 Conference: April 6-8, 2020
The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina will host all weekend workshops and conference sessions and meetings. Sessions will focus on issues and topics relevant to research, policy, programs, education and community-based care, highlighting how all these areas of public health are integrated toward achieving “optimal oral health” for the nation’s population. The NOHC also will offer association awards, membership meetings, and social networking opportunities.
We will again offer educational sessions in a variety of formats, including plenaries, workshops, seminars, and oral paper presentations. Back are roundtable sessions and a poster session. In addition, the American Board of Dental Public Health will be offering the Specialty Board Examination to candidates on April 9-11, 2020.
This conference is designed for dentists, dental hygienists, health researchers, dental/health educators, legislators, public health officials, Medicaid/CHIP dental program staff or consultants, state/territorial dental directors, county/city/local dental directors, community health center personnel, students, federally-employed dental personnel, school-based and school-linked health center personnel, as well as dental manufacturers/distributors and dental insurance companies – in short, anyone interested in engaging in collaboration to improve the oral health of the public.
