41 - Multiple Faces of DCIS

Not just calcifications! This case-based lecture will review the varied imaging appearances of DCIS. Although mammographic and sonographic images will be presented, there will also be emphasis on the varied MRI appearance of DCIS.

Learning Objectives:

describe how specific morphologies and distrubutions of calcifications on mammography relate to DCIS.
understand the varied imaging appearance of DCIS on breast MRI and the appropriate use of MRI in relation to extent of disease.
navigate radiology reports with a clear understanding of terminology relating to DCIS.
