There are well documented disparities in cancer outcomes for various groups. What is less well understood is the role of implicit bias and yet addressing this subtle epigenetic like insert in all our psyche is crucial for substantive change.

1- Expanding the idea that implicit bias is racial to understanding the broad spectrum of bias
2- Obtaining methods for recognizing your unconscious bias triggers so that you can consciously handle them
3- Learning good ways to discuss productively this issue when you recognize it in others in your environment especially in health care arenas
