In this course we will review ways to make modifications to standardized positioning techniques (The Miller Method), for patients with varying body limitations, in order to obtain optimal image quality. Learn patient relaxation techniques that can decrease patient discomfort, resulting in better compression, optimal imaging and improve overall patient experience. Discuss how to properly document and effectively communicate information regarding patient limitations/issues utilizing the patient history sheet or electronic RIS.
