Breast cancer treatment related toxicities are common and are associated with significant reduction in quality of life and at times requires chemotherapy dose reduction interfering with treatment goals. Implementation of an evidence based integrative approach to breast cancer treatment which includes lifestyle modifications, mind and body practices, and/or natural products alongside conventional cancer treatments to reduce treatment related toxicities, enhance quality of life and improve clinical outcomes across the cancer care continuum is essential.
