Dr. Stavros is a is a board certified radiologist who has had a special interst in ultrasound breast imaging for more than 40 years. Dr. Stavros has published numerous papers, has authored the textbook BREAST ULTRASOUND, and has lectured and taught extensively on breast ultrasound around the world. His current areas of special interest within breast ultrasound include opto-acoustics, and ultrasound as a qualitative, quantitative, and prognostic biomarker and histologic correlation of imaging findings. Dr. Stavros is a Fellow of the ACR, SBI, and SRU and an honorary Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology.
