With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, Julie has transitioned from direct patient care in hospital and outpatient setting to clinical operations and research. During the last 8 years, her commitment has been focused on Women's Health, including breast cancer and survivorship. Her experience in healthcare accreditatons and operations supported the creation of an accredited breast center in Western New York and became a certified breast navigator in both imaging and nursing. She has been an active member of NCBC over the last several years, supporting the conference committee and the clinical lead for the navigator core committee. She is a healthcare consultant with JLS Consulting for clinical operations, program implementation and research. Currently, Julie is the Senior Director of Clnical Operations for Solis Mammography, supporting the breast program and the clinical needs for the 60+ imaging centers. Her sucesses include, implementing Contrast Enhanced Mammography program, initiating a high risk screening program and supporting clinical research including, Smart Curve and AJR manuscript on tomosynthesis on women under 50.
