Associate Fellowship Coordinator

Kathel Dunn, PhD is the Associate Fellowship Program Coordinator at the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Dr. Dunn curates a leadership program for early career librarians. Her position at NLM expanded to include Workforce Development for the Division of Library Operations. She facilitates or offers training herself in sessions on presentations and vision-development, leadership, negotiations, diversity and an inclusive workplace. Her current work focuses on career development and internal communication to NLM staff on the implementation of the NLM Strategic Plan. Dr. Dunn received a BA in History from Mary Washington College, MSLS from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a PhD from Rutgers University. She has published on scholarly communication, leadership, and medical education.
