Andrew Hamilton, MS/MLS is currently employed as a Health Science Education and Research Librarian at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) and has worked at the OHSU Library as an Assistant Professor since 2002. Prior to joining OHSU, he worked for the NN/LM Online Training Center from 1996-2002 where he travelled the United States teaching thousands of librarians how to search PubMed. He started his career as an Information Specialist at the New York Academy of Medicine Library in 1993. Mr. Hamilton earned his Master of Library Science degree as part of a double Master’s degree for Drug Information Specialists (M.S.-Pharmaceutical Science/M.L.S.) from St. John’s University in 1993 and has B.S. degrees in Microbiology and Genetics from Oregon State University.
