1.0 Administrative CEU - Community partnerships are an integral part of a successful emergency management program. Healthcare coalitions are groups of individual healthcare and response organizations, including long term care facilities, that collaborate to prepare for and respond to disasters and emergencies. Attend this session to learn about Missouri’s healthcare coalitions and how they can help your organization engage in the broader emergency preparedness community while meeting parts of the CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule Conditions of Participation. This session will review healthcare coalition structure, purpose, preparedness and response roles, and how you can get involved!
