St. Francis in Pittsburgh, PA, VIR Fellowship Thomas Jefferson Univ Hospital. Practiced VIR 18 years at Christiana Care as VIR Chief and Medical Director Peripheral labs Center for Heart & Vascular Health 2000-2014. Was Medical Director- Center for Comprehensive Venous Health from 2013-15. Left Christiana Care Nov. 2015 to pursue private practice and industry opportunities. Became CMO for Merit Medical Systems from 11/15 to 4/17. Am Founder, CEO and Medical Director of EndoVascular Consultants, affiliated with St. Francis Healthcare in Wilmington, DE.
Have participated in numerous societal positions, including Chair of the SIR Venous Service Line, Chair of the American Venous Forum membership committee and Fellows Training Committee. Have also been the PI or sub-PI on numerous clinical trials & registries including ATTRACT, IN.PACT II, SEATTLE II, PEARLL I & II, CREST among others. Am study PI for ACCESS PTS, evaluating outcomes following recanalization of chronic DVT patients with PTS. Have moderated/coordinated numerous sessions at national and international meetings, including SIR and CIRSE, and am invited speaker/faculty at numerous meetings including AVF, AIM, IVC, ISET, CIRSE, SIR, VEITH, VIVA, VEINS, and fellow training courses as well as industry sponsored meetings. Was member of the Board of Directors for the IAC Vein Accreditation. Have been lead author, co-author or guest editor on numerous articles, abstracts and chapters including the 2014 TVIR edition on Venous Disease and the 2018 Atlas of Endovascular Venous Surgery, 2nd Edition.
