Andrea McEachran is a Graduate Research Assistance in the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering department at Iowa State University. Her thesis research focuses on improving the understanding of saturated buffer function, and ultimately aiding in their design. Primarily, these objectives are achieved by applying analytical and numerical models. Andrea will be graduating with her Master of Science degree this summer, so her job search will begin in the near future. Her passion for water quality and quantity has led her towards a career in water resource engineering where she hopes to leave a positive impact on surrounding communities.
