I graduated from Penn State University in May, 1995 with a BS in Landscape Contracting and an Assoc. degree in Business Management. Later that year I relocated to Raleigh, NC to begin working with NCDOT. Over the next few years I went back and forth between Civil and Geo-technical Engineering firms before taking a position as a Land Development Manager for a homebuilding company. I worked in that same capacity with various other building companies in the Triangle for the next five years or so. In late 2003 I joined Kenneth West, Inc. (a local site construction company) as a partner and have been digging ditches ever since. My day-to-day duties at Kenneth West, Inc. range from literally digging ditches, to building digital CAD models and estimating projects, meeting with homebuilding executives, workint closely with municipal authorities, and of course….Wake County SEC Inspectors.
