Mr. Morgereth is a Senior Ecologist and Practice Lead with Biohabitats, Inc. As an environmental consultant he has provided conservation planning and ecological restoration services for over 30 years. He holds a Masters degree in Ecological and Environmental Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. His work includes a focus on coastal and estuarine ecological restoration and resource management including living shoreline restoration, natural and nature-based features, and adaptive management. He also has applied experience in climate change adaptation and coastal resiliency including for projects along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. He served as a member of the Chesapeake Bay Program's Shoreline Management Expert Panel and he is on the Workgroup for the International Natural and Nature-based Features Guidelines for Sustainable Engineering led by the USACE and NOAA. Mr. Morgereth is also an Association of Climate Change Officers - Maryland Climate Leadership Academy Training Course Graduate.
